PRESS: Samruk-Kazyna invites Russians to Aktau seaport auction

MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- Kazakhstan’s state fund Samruk-Kazyna has invited Russian investors to an auction to sell the Aktau seaport, the fund’s Managing Director Almasadam Satkaliyev said in an interview with Kommersant business daily released on Tuesday.

“There are no (country) limits in some assets including the seaport of Aktau. Moreover, we invite all interested parties, including Russian investors, to take part in the auction,” he said.

Kazakhstan is preparing for a large privatization program to sell stakes in many Samruk-Kazyna’s assets including Kazakhtelecom, Air Astana, KazMunayGas.
